That is why I dislike those who “like” a ton of things on Facebook.
This is quite possibly one of my favourite books of all time. Orwell expresses thoughts and ideas that survive and continue to this day. He created Big Brother. No, not the one we were plagued with on Channel 4 for too long. He created something that would patrol nigh on EVERYTHING you would say or do.
In George Orwell’s version of 1984, Utopia was a thing you wouldn’t even dream of.
It’s worrying how many similarities can be found from his book in the real world.
