I’m going to see Inception…AGAIN!!!
Just out of curiosity, did any of you read my review of Inception that I posted the other day?
1. Whatever that word was that I said after watching Inception about that annoyingly crass man that became Captain Obvious to every major plot twist, my favourite being: “Oh he’s been shot” when Saito, the cold-on-top-but-really-just-wants-a-hug Japanese money-thrower-business type in the movie (Played by Ken Watanabe). But yeah, that word which I was going to mention but forgot? Is not a word!
2. The new McDonalds make-over: My sister said it was mildly “posher” than before, I replied “As mildly as a rat has influence upon my lifestyle”.
She didn’t get the metaphor…
3. Back to Inception. What. A. Film. Totally smacked my premonitions of what the film was going to be clear out of the body of liquid we know as H2O.
Leonardo plays Cobb, a man with a name that sounds like a breed of fish. And does so amazingly well! He is COMPLETELY forgiven for his shoddy performance in that film where that boy falls in love with a girl of a different race or species or something like that and then she takes this stupid drink (something like vodka) and it makes people think she’s dead when she’s not and then Leo finds her and thinks it’s the “IN” thing to be dead so kills himself FOR REAL and then she wakes up because she’s not really dead and then she realises she can’t get sex from Leo any more (well she could but that would just be weird) and kills her self FOR REAL.
Sad story, written by some shaken spear or was it a quivering spade?
Anyway, Di-Cap plays a man with a somewhat cold exterior driven by the suicide of his wife, which is his inside weakness. Overall I was extremely impressed with how he’s turned himself around as an actor and was actually feeling for him when Ellen Page shot his imaginary wife.
Now, I’ve never seen Joseph Gordon-Levitt act before, at least not to my knowledge, and was delighted at his performance as professional friend of Bass, Arthur. He seemed very hands-on with his performance and I was delighted to hear that he did his own stunts in the amazing scene with the gravity changing hotel corridor. He was somewhat quiet and out of the way at times but still managed to ALMOST upstage Leprio. I loved his scenes, and the aforementioned scene with the twisty roomy thingy was my favourite of the whole film. Plus he got to kiss Ariadne (yes, I can’t remember how to pronounce her name).
Charles Bronson made a nice, surprise performance.
(Just googled so called Godon-Lovott and found out he was in 500 Days of Summer, I now don’t like him as much.)
The film achieved much of the effects without the aid of CGI, which I was impressed with because most directors these days are hooked on CGI like Mickey Rourke is hooked on plastic surgery that stops his face from melting. I’m just kidding he was awesome in The Wrestler. But nevertheless there are some shots that you just CANNOT do in the real world…yet, but the CGI company Double Negative put their backs into it muchily and pulled off all the required shots.
I like Michael Caine. Do you?
From one of my many albums.
Critique?
The first night of the Proms was a bit of a disappointment.
Tried to photograph some bats outside my house this evening, didn’t go too well, crafty buggers kept coming super close to me then flitting off in another direction.
I have a hell of a lot of ideas for sketches whizzing around in my head, but no motivation to actually get out there and shoot some of them, plus I don’t have an actors, film gear or set.
“Insomnia I can’t get no sleep” that’s a double negative you twat.
Been a while since I uploaded some music, so here’s something I just finished. It’s more ambient and minimalistic but I hope you guys enjoy it.
Let me know what you think?

So Borderlands gets a tad less exciting on the second walkthrough, can’t say I’m wholly surprised though. Don’t get me wrong, the game IS amazing in every respect, but I just wish there was a little more to the second walkthrough other than it being slightly harder and you can level up more. But all in all I need to level up as much as I can to defeat Cramerax The Invincible, he is my one true goal in this beautiful and un-put-downable game.
